Multicultural - Multifaceted - Multitasker

All my life, people have described me as an impressive self-starter with a personable demeanor and inborn leadership qualities. One could argue my first ever ‘gig’ was as a Subaru-sponsored Junior Olympian skier. I’m blessed to say I participated in three Junior Olympic events and several national competitions before my sports legacy ended with back-to-back ACL tears and subsequent knee injuries. Despite the immeasurable devastation, I focused on fostering relationships and establishing a social presence. When there is a will, there is a way; a fresh perspective (and a warm cookie) can drastically alter any situation.

Next thing I knew, I co-managed a special needs group home for children and adults in Michigan before attending college as a first-generation undergraduate student. At Brandeis University, I served as the Administrative Assistant to the President and management within the Office of Special Events. During my time there, I realized I excel at deriving order from chaos + I am addicted to the gratification of shared accomplishment through serving others.

I learned how to navigate life at a young age. When there's a will, there's a way - and I will find it.

Analyzing the energy of the room, I accurately anticipate upcoming needs with an open mind and deep understanding of those around me.

resourceful + curious

Nancy Drew and I must have been friends in one of my past lives because I share her compulsion to solve everyone’s problems.

ride or die mentality

I pride myself on being dependable and trustworthy. When challenged, I remain level-headed and act with integrity.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

— Aristotle

Upon graduating in 2017, I propelled myself into the professional world as a New Patient Coordinator for the Hematology Department, where I blossomed in a high-volume, higher-stakes environment. As the designated scheduler for 19 medical providers across the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital, I mastered time management, effective communication, and the importance of establishing a collaborative and diverse team.

I continued my insatiable desire to provide exemplary support to high-level Executives as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO, CFO, and CHRO of a multi-million dollar staffing + recruiting firm in downtown Boston. After being laid off due to the onset of the pandemic, I briefly piloted a new recruiting process across three regions for BJ’s Wholesale, remotely onboarding 50+ candidates per week until they successfully achieved their goal of dropping below 2,500 job openings.

Shortly after, life took me across the country to Colorado Springs, where I utilized the fourteen-month-long hiatus to exercise my mind/body with regular yoga and 1,000+ piece puzzles. That adaptability, resiliency, and tenacious manner landed me an Executive Assistant position for El Paso County’s Digital, Strategy, and Technology Department, where I dedicated my services to the Executive Directors who implemented the 2023 County-Wide Strategic Plan. Two years later, I transitioned to the Human Resources Department with the new title of HR Coordinator. Less than two months into training, the Chief Human Resource Officer offered me a promotional role as his Executive Assistant. I’m grateful for the spectrum of skills I’ve gained thus far and look forward to my continued transformation.

I like to say that I flourish where planted, regardless of the circumstances.

So, let's be excellent together.
